My passion for the performing arts started when I was in primary school. I grew up watching old musicals, one of which, “Singing in the Rain,” inspired me to become who I am today … It remains one of my favourite films, oh how Gene Kelly makes me swoon!
I could whistle by the time I was four and also taught myself to play piano. French horn, drama classes, and dance came later, and I have loved singing for as far back as I remember. In fact, I wanted to become a professional singer but chose to become an actor instead, since I thought I would make more money … Hahaha!
My parents wanted me to become a doctor so were super disappointed when I quit university to become a professional actor, though I did get to play a doctor in a film. Close enough.
